Minors in Philosophy
Adding a philosophy minor to your VCU studies is a great way to boost your skill set — specifically to think critically and clearly express ideas — as well as your career options.
The Department of Philosophy offers two minors for students who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in another subject at VCU. (Links go to VCU Bulletin.)
Minor in Philosophy
To minor in philosophy, students must complete 18 credits of study and can choose from foundational coursework in either Ancient Greek and Medieval Western Philosophy or Modern Western Philosophy.
Minor in Philosophy of Law
For the philosophy of law minor, students complete 24 credits and take courses focused on ethics, philosophy of law, social and political philosophy, and more.
